Bombus-- - Bombus griseocollis - male - female

Bombus-- - Bombus griseocollis - Male Female
Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington, USA
August 9, 2017
Size: Apprx. 20mm
Pair of bombus, maybe. She was feeding on coyote mint, Monardella odoratissima, and he was checking her out. She had some yellow on her head, a totally yellow thorax, and yellow on at least the first two tergites. He was more golden-brown all over. He left, but she went on to the Richardson's penstemon later. When I tried to catch her, she shot straight up into the air and I followed her climb until she disappeared into the sky. I was hoping they were morrisoni, but could be a pale griseocollis (there are many of those here and I posted a male to the guide if comparison is needed), or have we been invaded by impatiens?
(Wenatchee is in the middle of Washington state--shrub steppe, desert. Our yard is in a canyon close to where the Cascade forest begins.)
