Unknown Beetle - Contacyphon

Unknown Beetle - Contacyphon
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
May 12, 2017
OK, now we get to the fun stuff, beetles smaller than 4mm BL which I have not the least ability to ID on my own. This particular bug is common enough in this county, buuuut, they are also extremely difficult to photograph as they are never completely still and, in my experience, only show up at a particular time for a very short while, off and on, over a three to four month period. I surmise food availability may have something to do with it...
