dont have to worry about the bug anymore.i did not let it free, it escaped by itself.so now i dont have to get worried about getting bitten or if the bug is unsafe.right now im just so happy that it is free and safe!!!!!!!!

Wheel Bug

This is in a different family, the Reduviidae. The spiked ridge is distinctive for the species Arilus cristatus, the Wheel Bug (1).

a wheel bug.......

there is a wheel bug in my back yard window.it is trap in there and i want to get it out to save it but i heard that they have a very painful bite!it is my very first time seeing one of these.so will some people please respond back and tell me should i take it out my window or not!!!!!!!!!

Let it go

See if you can release it without handling it. Maybe open the window and let it escape. Or you can try to capture it using a cup and a piece of paper or cardboard...cover the bug with the cup and gently slide the paper/cardboard over the cup to capture it.
