Original Description)
Identification
The nominate subspecies T. pilosa pilosa has elytra dull-greenish except for the typical narrow yellow lateral margins and an attenuated pale yellow streak (or "vitta") along the midline of each elytron, extending from the base to near the middle.
In subspecies T. pilosa vittata, the pale yellow vitta is wider and more pronounced, and continues to near the apex of the elytra.
Range
Occurs from southern British Columbia to southern Idaho and the Sierra Nevada of California.

Remarks
Hogue
(1)(1970) augmented the circumscription of Blake's
T. pilosa to include the additional subspecies
T. pilosa vittata. It was formally published by Hogue in his treatment of
Trirhabda that appeared in Vol. 5 of Hatch's "Beetles of the Pacific Northwest"
