Did you see
a long spur on the hind tibiae in any of your photos?

 
No
not that was evident, I'll stick the vial under a scope and try to double check tomorrow.

Not entirely sure it is Chloropidae to be honest. Does have some characters consistent with Apotropina, though I can't see them all clearly and its general habitus doesn't match what we have in the guide right now. Wouldn't mind seeing this one at some point.

 
Hard to get a good view
but I don't think I can see a long spur. I'll look for more of these, this one is in a vial that I was sending to John. I've been saving the other things for you, concentrating mostly on beetles with some Dryinids and bugs thrown in. Hopefully some you don't have yet. I'll try to start saving extra flies to send you.

Chloropidae: Oscinellinae?
