This is a first for me. Hoppers of this kind are a bit rarish in this area, why I don't know. The other reason this kinda stands out for me is that when I found it, it was seemingly engaged in a tete-a-tete with an Anotia fitchi. Both danced around one another showing off their wings and strutting like cocks. Funny thing was all other insects had cleared the deck for these two, so there were no females to call to and it would be somewhat unlikely they saw each other as true rivals since they were two entirely different species. Funny as hell watching them, though (I also got a few pics of the "action")...
