Size: Small - 1/2 in.
Is this a leptinotarsa leaf beetle? I also found one of these in the Peloncillo Mountains in extreme SE Arizona.

It looks the same, a bit brig
It looks the same, a bit brighter orange maybe. This species must be fairly widespread in mountain canyons in SE Arizona.
