a single species in our area
(1)Identification
This genus is distinguished by its large size (thus longer scapes and legs) and evenly spaced coxae. The one species in our area is readily distinguished by its black coloration and blue eyes. It is one of two large species, the other being the often brown-marked Prosevania fuscipes.
