And the wings are not as important as the Colorado location, though it does eliminate dark-winged species. There are seven Diogmites in CO. This is not angustipennis, basalis, neoternatus or platypterus. I don't have descriptions of the strictly western Diogs. And there are not many. If those palpi are truly black this may be perplexus. It is also supposed to have an all pruinose abdomen, which is unusual for this genus. But I cannot absolutely eliminate the western grossus and coloradensis.

Palpi are jet black entirely. Didn't notice a pruinose abdomen when it was captured.
