This Flat Fly (Family Hippoboscidae) was captured as it dropped from the body feathers of a Northern Cardinal at a bird banding station.

The right wing appears to show the wing hair pattern of Ornithomya anichineuria (posterior edge of r5 bare; several bare strips in m).
