It looks very much like the moth from the new genus on Dichanthelium--the wing markings are a bit different, yet the shape and many other aspects look almost identical to my untrained eye.

Yes
They are certainly both in the subfamily Acrocercopinae, and I'm not entirely sure how to distinguish them.

An adult emerged, and it is indeed something in the neighborhood of
Leucospilapteryx
or
Acrocercops astericola
(which is misplaced in that genus). I'm going to try and find someone to help me with this group this winter.

No, but this might be Leucospilapteryx venustella
