Generally mid-June to mid-July is peak time for EAB, with oviposition starting in early July. Of course this all changes according to degree day or how many warm days there have been.

gets to only 14mm. are you sure about 22-25 for this specimen? It sure looks like one.

Perhaps I overestimated the size, and it could have been less than 20 mm. Although EAB's I've seen in Ontario were smaller, and this is why I was unsure.
