Acalymma ID request

Acalymma ID request
Freeville, Tompkins County, New York, USA
August 21, 2017
These two insects were taken from a vegetable research farm in Freeville, NY. The beetle on the left is Acalymma vittatum, which is common early in the summer in this region. The beetle on the right with lighter coloration seems to resemble A. trivittatum, but to my knowledge is not found east of the Rockies. I collected ~ 400 mixed beetles from squash including multiple Diabrotica and mostly Acalymma vittatum. There were approximately 50 of the lighter colored beetle (right). Can someone help me ID the beetle on the right?

Identification will require knowing how many striae the black lines take up. I will look at my revision to narrow down the possibilities. It is possible that the only difference is that you have a pair and not two different species.
