scarab beetle, Lichnanthe sp. - Lichnanthe vulpina

scarab beetle, Lichnanthe sp. - Lichnanthe vulpina

This scarab is a good bee mimic.

L. vulpina
Jim,thanks for digging up the info to get this down to species.

Group elevated to family rank
Added new Family Glaphyridae, moved image. Good shot. I'll have to check, but I'm guessing this is L. vulpina

Lichnanthe vulpina
is the only species listed on the University of New Hampshire checklist. I think it's OK to place it on species page.
