Moved from ID Request.

Female - Scoliid Wasp
6 abdominal segments = ♀
This might be a female Triscolia ardens. (south-western) OK, I just went out and looked at a few Creosote bushes, but none have any flowers right now. From what I know, if it's bigger than this flower, it's too big for the genus Scolia. (BL > 20mm)
