large spider - Neoscona crucifera

For about the last two weeks, this large spider (body approx. 3/4") has constructed a new orb web every evening outside my kitchen door. The web spans about 3 to 4 feet at it widest, and is 6 to 7 feet above the ground. ID appreciated.
