Hmm...
I'm sure that this is not T. californicum since that species has a coastal distribution from British Columbia to California according to Levi's genus treatment. Spiders do stow away from time to time but it is good practice to investigate species that are native to the area first since they are more likely to occur there in greater numbers.

That being said, I'm not even sure this is a Theridion (which it may very well be). I have a hard time ruling out Phylloneta pictipes which is often confused with the Theridion.

Hi there,
This looks to be T. californicum. They are from CA, but their range can veer off to other areas sometimes.
Harmless and shy.
