Size: approx 1/4 of a milimeter
After walking in tall grass found hundreds of these small bugs swarming on my clothing. The example in the image is dead. Image taken with a microscope. The bugs have a hard outer shell. Needed to pinch between fingernails to kill. These are biting insects causing a small raise fluid filled blister to form. Very itchy. My legs and feet are covered with blisters.
