These are flying all over the neighborhood right now. By the time I got around to photographing this one its wings had fallen off.

Pacific Dampwood Termite - Zootermopsis angusticollis . Nice picture!
One of these fell into our kitchen sink. I used clear tape to pick it up and placed it in a bottle cap. I used more clear tape to view it and to seal it in . Thanks for the excellent picture. It made it easy to find out what it was. August 18 2015, 7:00pm Shoreline WA.
