Size: Wingspan ≈25mm
On black light illuminated sheet in the evening. Photo was taken on the next day in daylight. This tattered moth looks like having had a tough time (not my handling, this is how I found it!). The rounded cutout of the outer margin suggests to me that this is a Macaria but I cannot find a match for this unusually patterned individual. Is it not a Macaria? I would appreciate help.
