Earth-Boring Dung Beetle -
Geotrupes splendidus
North Adams/Mt. Greylock, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA
July 8, 2004
When this beetle was trying to walk on the pavement, it kept flipping over. It couldn't seem to stay on it's feet on solid ground.
