Orange-and-black striped (moth?) - Syntomeida ipomoeae
the villages, sumter County, Florida, USA
September 7, 2017
Size: 1.5 in wingspan
Nectaring on Snow Squarestem at 6PM. Same size as nearby polka-dot wasp (oleander) moths. Three distinct white wing spots blurred in picture. Striking but I cannot find anything like it on-line.
