Not creosote
So I read the info on her, and I'll tell you why I thought she was an orb web weaver. I was on the road looking for prairie walkingsticks because I want them, I find them in mesquite bushes during the early fall. I found her in a mesquite that was just off the road, she was suspended in the center with her hiding spot. I could see her web was attached to the mesquite I could see where 3 lines were connected, very similar to an orb web weaver. I did catch some orb webs today as well. There was no creosote any where near by, just mesquite and the ocassinal yucca and cow patty.

Thanks for providing us with a view of her web!
Size? Please fill in the size field, whenever you know the exact size if your bugs.

When she is no longer
In the world of the living. I don't like handling spiders or scorpions

Size
Body length ≈ pencil width = approximately 7mm or 8mm
Do you still have this pencil?
:)

Yes
It's in the arthropod room. I can measure it via centimeters I lack an awesome ruler. I should order one though.

The pencil with an
Electrical tool meant for measuring car parts (it does mm and is extra accurate) the width is 6.8mm

Do you want me to measure the web mass with her eggs as well?

Yes
Spiders are normally measured by the body length. It's up to you to decide how and when to fill in the size of the nests or hives or webs that you discover with your bugs.
See my nest image here: That format is just a suggestion.

I'll wait
Until she dies of age. I'm going to feed her and take care of her. I'll put in the measurements then since I'll be able to measure all of her and take better photos.

Wow!
What a beauty.

And I was no
Where near her ID I was in the wrong family.
