Ornate green moth - Lithacodia musta

Ornate green moth - Lithacodia musta
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
September 7, 2017
Size: 1 cm WS
This was a small green and tan moth that has two yellow eye spots with black centers and a white "eyebrow" over each, and two larger yellow eyes pots above those. He was somewhat bell shaped and appeared shiny. I think the white area on his back is a flash reflection. If it means anything, he was shy and difficult to photograph.
