Love Is In The Air; Lovebugs That Is...

Has anyone else noticed a large increase in lovebug populations this year? We have been inundated with them in numbers not seen in quite a few years. Virtually everyone's grill work and hoods on their cars are covered with splattered victims and even bunches that manage to hang on while driving down the highway. Walking out of doors is a royal pain when one has to constantly swat them out of one's face. Oh, and they don't taste very good, by the way.

How about painted ladies?
No, I haven't but, then again, I don't get out of the house much these days. However, I received several reports of more painted ladies than in previous years. There seems to be an irruption.
Anybody else?
