Oxyopes scalaris
Hi,
This is Oxyopes scalaris: the western lynx spider. They are voracious predators in their realm and love to eat leaf hoppers.
Have a good one,

Oxyopes scalaris
Thanks, this one didn't try to hide as soon as I tried to take its picture! It danced around until I got a few shots and then it ran away.

That's great! This species of lynx spider "likes" to dance around with their front legs in the air. Not sure if it's a defense system or just their behavior.
They're really cool though!
