Found: undescribed larvae! - Eleates depressus
Jefferson Notch area, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
Size: about 3.7 mm
This was the smallest of the three suspected Eleates depressus larvae I found in the Fomitopsis pinicola conk most recently. Unlike the other two larvae and two new adults, it was in the softer, spongier rim of the conk.
