Moth - Sympistis sokar

Moth - Sympistis sokar
Wenatchee, Chelan County, Washington, USA
September 11, 2017
Found in Swakane Canyon. Think possible might be Sympistis sokar as PNWMoths describes its habitat as associated with basalt-cliffed canyons which is where I found this one. But it also has a look-alike Sympistis chorda. Any ideas?

sokar vs chorda
The folks over at PNW Moths no longer list P.corda as a Northwest species, and consider these NW specimens to be P. sokar instead, which should make things easier for those who collect in or near canyons and rocky areas.

Okay, not basalt
Sorry, I think the rocks making up the canyon are Gneiss but I'm not sure.
