Tiny Weevil - Lechriops oculatus

Tiny Weevil - Lechriops oculatus
Harvard/Oxbow NWR, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
April 5, 2005
Size: 1/8"
This tiny weevil would move quickly just a little bit, just like a spider moving and stopping. This one was on a pine tree, but I saw another on a small hardwood tree. Looks like an alien with those eyes.
