On apricot fruit, in a suburban backyard; reminiscent of Aphis nerii, but the body structure seems wrong.

Perhaps leaf footed bugs
These look more like leaf footed bug nymphs than aphids, considering the thorax structure and antennae. Leaf footed bugs feed on a variety of fruit trees.

In the Guide "Data" section, there's a photo of nymphs that appear identical to this and my photos--on an apricot tree in Los Angeles County. They're identified as Leptoglossus, so I'll change the title for these photos.
