Daddy longleg?? - Male

I just moved to the Houston area. I see all these daddy long leg looking spiders and I don't like them and my sister says not to worry about them. I killed one the other day and I just want to make sure that this is in fact some kind of daddy long legs spider and not a brown recluse. I have taken a picture of the top of the spider and the eyee arrangement, and I am not sure what I'm looking at because I seen brown recluses before, but this one was in a web. Please help.
