I'm pretty sure this is Epitrix fuscula; hoping for confirmation/correction. I find these on Carolina horsenettle in my yard every year.

I'm sure eggplant farmers hate seeing these, but they are really good at keeping Carolina horsenettle under control. I love them for that.
