Interesting
There are not a lot of pixels in this image, but it certainly looks to us that there is red on the lower side of this caterpillar. The green ends at a broken white or yellow stripe and then there is red below.

You're right ...
I see what you are saying, and you're right. There does look to be red on the underside of my caterpillar. After pawing through the images you pointed me toward, and considering I got mine in Sedona, I would agree from one page here that it's a Sedona Moth Caterpillar -- Automeris cecrops pamina. But I'm just a photographer, so I have only appearance to go on. I'll leave the official verdict up to you folks with the bug knowledge. I very much appreciate your time! This is fun.

Green Caterpillar
Similar, John, but my example doesn't have any red underneath it. Peña Blanca Lake is near the southern border of Arizona, and West Fork of Oak Creek is north central. Perhaps they are close relatives. Or maybe the red doesn't make any difference? I've seen many others all bright green up there and have taken photos of them.
