Wasp - Chalybion californicum - Female

This large wasp landed near my feet,as if exhausted. Then I saw that it was caring something.A minute or so later it took off again.

Female - Thread-waisted Wasp
Hunting = ♀
This looks like a female Blue Mud Wasp, Chalybion californicum. (widespread) This is not a true Spider Wasp, but she is a spider predator.
