Fly - Rhagio - male

Fly - Rhagio - Male
Kirkland, King County, Washington, USA
July 7, 2012
No idea what kind. Anyone know?

Moved from ID Request.

Male - Snipe Fly
No eye-gap = ♂
None of the west coast images have been IDed to species, other than Rhagio tringarius, which we can rule out. (completely clear wings)
However, I suspect that most of the flies like this, with the dark spots on the wings are the Small Fleck-winged Snipe Fly, Rhagio lineola. Hold on for an expert.

Will do.
Thank you very much!
