Spider in Wisconsin - Araneus diadematus

Spider in Wisconsin - Araneus diadematus
Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin, USA
September 22, 2017
Found this giant spider in the backyard. I've been surprised each day when I see it because most of the spiders around here hide during the day but this one is so big, it can't hide!! Was just wondering what type of spider this is, if it's pregnant and/or poisonous. Thanks so much!!
