the pink, spiny one

the pink, spiny one
Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA
August 31, 2017
Size: 1cm
I was photographing a goldenrod, and was surprised to see this pink, spiny insect grabbing a wasp/bee. I'm more interested in finding out what the pink one is, but an ID of the wasp/bee is cool too.

Frassed
Moved from True Bugs.

Prey:
Ceratina (Zadontomerus)

Can't tell you about the prey, but...
...the predator is a Sinea nymph.
