Astigmata
Interesting! I was expecting to see a photo of a spider mite (Prostigmata: Tetranychidae), but instead, the mite is from the Astigmata. It did not make the web, but presumably is feeding on fungi, rotting plant material, or maybe the frass(?) that appears to be under the webbing. I can't tell what family of Astigmata, though. Maybe Barry OConnor recognizes it.

With luck, others will be able to take the ID further. Thanks for posting--and welcome to BugGuide!
