Size: 2.4 mm
I'm happy to add this species for BugGuide. I'd read that a species of Halticotoma could be found on Nolina sp., so I checked out some Nolina microcarpa in landscaping, and sure enough, there they were! Keyed to H. nicholi using review by Knight (1968).

We had a few of these at blacklight
from Pena Blanca Lake. They were attacking the blister beetles and hanging off them!
