Size: < 1mm
Pollinator in the marsh! It was caught in sweep net and doused with alcohol. Live bees of this group are wonderfully fuzzy.

Drying techniques
The chemical drying techniques used for flies are supposed to leave bees with more natural hair patterns than air drying.
