Moth - Globia subflava

Moth - Globia subflava
Quincy, Grant County, Washington, USA
August 21, 2017
Found at Burke Lake. The shape of it resembles Spilosoma danbyi but none of the photos on BG show lightened vein patterns. So, hmmmm....

Subflava Sedge Borer
Are you sure that this is a female?
Please compare Capsula subflava: (northern) This species can have light or dark fore-wing colors, but the hind-wings are always pale.

Yes, this looks like a better
match. I put down female as the male Spilosoma danbyi have feathery antennae. Besides the white veins, what was bothering me was that the abdomen stuck out so much. But that would fit with Capsula subflava. Nice detective work!
