Leptoglossus concolor (Walker)? - Leptoglossus concolor - female

Leptoglossus concolor (Walker)? - Leptoglossus concolor - Female
Nogales, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
October 6, 2017
Size: 22 mm
From what information I could gather, this species has been collected from TX, FL, NC, the Caribbean, and from Mexico south to Panama. So it wouldn't be a huge stretch for it to wander into southern AZ. Similar to L. oppositus, but with serrations on the posterolateral margin of the pronotum, and the first antennomere bicolored (black and reddish brown). Also similar to L. zonatus, but without the pair of distinctly round, yellow areas of the pronotum. Keyed via Brailovsky (2014). I add a question mark after the determination only because I don't have any physical specimens of L. concolor to compare it with; it seemed to key out pretty clearly.
