This white spider attacked a mating pair of pipevine swallowtail butterflies. One dead butterfly was on the ground. Is it a white crab spider.

image for the spider. I guess this one can be filed for the butterfly.

Certainly looks like Misumenoides to us

but it looks like Misumenoides formosipes to us.
