Spider attacking Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly -
Battus philenor
Brooksville/Croom Wildlife Management area, Hernando County, Florida, USA
October 4, 2017
This white spider attacked a mating pair of pipevine swallowtail butterflies. One dead butterfly was on the ground. Is it a white crab spider.
