MN Oct - Neomyia cornicina

MN Oct - Neomyia cornicina
Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area, Anoka County, Minnesota, USA
October 7, 2017
Thought this would be easy but not sure if Lucilia or Neomyia (cornicina)? Did some reading but still couldn't figure it out. At first thought of syrphid fly because of the vein on the wing. Throughly confused at the moment like with most so will just start here. It doesn't appear to have all of p1-p3 so that might help? Assuming female.
