Dark brown moth - Tetanolita floridana - female

Dark brown moth - Tetanolita floridana - Female
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
October 5, 2017
Size: 3 cm WS
This was a dark brown with an area of lighter tan on his head and behind his neck. He had a row of alternating dark brown and light on the bottom of his wings, in somewhat of a scalloped pattern. I see a ram's head on his back. He was difficult to photograph because he was so dark and had to over-expose a bit to get any detail in his wings.

Could it be Tetanolita floridana?
Thanks Aaron. You put me on the right track. Take a look at Florida Tetanolita Moth - Tetanolita floridana, BugGuide Photo#935493. This one seems to match, including the placement and size of the long orange dashes on each wing and the smaller orange dot above those. http://bugguide.net/node/view/935493

It seems like the warmer weather here in Alabama is bringing up several southerly species.
