Arizona Moth - possible Perizoma actuata Hodges #7319 - Perizoma actuata
Twilight Road on Mt. Graham, Graham County, Arizona, USA
September 14, 2017
On sheet with UV black light. Seems to match fairly well with the only two images I can currently find - on MPG, and Moths of Southeast Aizona (B. Walsh). Seeking confirmation or other opinion.

Moved tentatively to Perizoma actuata
Moved from ID Request.

Based on written description, and Jim Vargo's image.

Looks good
Jim,
I just finished adding a guide page, and condensed version of Pearsall's original description accurately describes your moth.
I'm just concerned that it's one of the few Perizoma species not verified by BOLD. Some of the unidentified specimens look similar, but I think they are mostly European.
