strange bug ? - Laphria

i cant find anything about this bug anywhere please help identify it?

Looks
like Laphria cinerea from overall gestalt but not an easy angle.

Laphria
Genus is correct, but it appears to not be the expected late-season species Laphria affinis. Better photos would be helpful. Is the date correct?

One of the larger species
It looks like one of the larger Laphria, like apila, grossa, or lata. I can't tell from this photo.
