Thank you very much for your help! How can you distinguish between a male and female?

Gender Separation
The easiest way to tell the male from the female is that the male has white spots between the black spots on its wings while the female does not.
Also the male develops a white pruinosity on its abdomen as it matures.

Female

You can see these white spots beginning to develop on your dragonfly.
