Ohio State University Extension fact sheets
[cite:592021]
scroll down to 'Insect and Pest Series Index'.
i find their fact sheets dealing with minor domestic pests (psocids, fungus beetles, carabids, and the like) and invaders to be the most useful part of that collection for BG purposes.

The National Agricultural Library's Agricultural Thesaurus

Ziser S.W. (2008-2012) The aquatic invertebrates of Texas
[cite:589927]

European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO)

Data sheets -- very informative, cover hundreds of agricultural pests, incl. many of relevance for our area

Parker D. (-2012) AquaTax Consulting

Drinking Swallowtail
I shot this video of a Tiger Swallowtail drinking from a stream, but I can't figure out why it's excreting the water as fast as it drinks it?!
Does anyone at BG know why it's doing that?

Note: While on YouTube set the video quality to 1080P, and watch the video full screen for the best detail!

Scanning electron micrographs (SEM) of insects and other arthropods
Gregory Paulson's site with thumbnails of over 6500 SEM images of various organisms, mostly insects.
