Camptoneuromyia - male

Camptoneuromyia - Male
East Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA
April 29, 2017
Size: 1 mm
In early June 2016, someone handed me a couple of Amphibolips oak apple galls at a bioblitz--bumpy ones, like this:

17 gall midge larvae emerged from it and I put them in a jar of soil. At the end of April 2017, three adult midges emerged: two Camptoneuromyia and one male Lasioptera (det. R. J. Gagné).

You write "two female Camptoneuromyia and one male Lasioptera" but you have two photos of a male submitted as Camptoneuromyia.

Thanks
It's fixed now.
